  • Resurgence in demand for Study in Australia (27th August 2011)
Nowadays a large number of Indian students are attracted towards Australia for their further studies. This signifies renewal of demand for Australia after the past two years decline in student immigration levels.

The main reasons for this decline as reported were tenacious immigration rules and issues of assaults relating to foreign students since then scenario has changed. Now Australian government has been actively promoting immigration for Indian students and skilled migrants under an Australian immigration scheme.

About 21 percent rise in student visa applications from India has been recorded by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) by the end of June 2011.
