On 18 July UKBA (UK Border Agency) published the proposed criteria to become a Highly Trusted Sponsor under Tier 4 and invited comments. On this the education sector has given the feedback and as per that they have published new guidance which covers:

There is no change in the fee structure. Work placements are also made available to students for 100 Hours equivalent to 600 Pounds. So students, enrolling for the February 2012 and April 2012 intake has the opportunity to examine their prospects by staying at the university longer.

South Thames College (STCL) is launching a Business Talent Scholarship scheme for post graduate diploma in Strategic Management & leadership to help students opt to boost their career, not their debt.

There are two kinds of schemes available; one is for the Post graduate diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership worth £1,000 and another one is for the Post graduate diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership with MBA top up worth £2,000. The programme is also accompanied by work placement of six months.
